Coffeed-up 20hr push from Kharkiv-Volgograd,incl 2hrs of form-filling at border.Have driven through smoother quarries than roads outside town!2nd gear job.Saw 1st team in 4days. 2 top lads in a Ka.No map for Russia.Had to use a World map postcard to navigate across border.All good :)

After a lengthy short-cut cross-country,a moment of confusion pulling onto E40.Why are there 2 Mercs speeding towards me? Like a Red Arrows display.happened too quick to be scary! Roads getting bumpier (would be tricky on a Penny Farthing) & si.gns much more confusing. Russia today?
