We’re passionate travellers, consumed by wanderlust, who use every opportunity to get out on the road. We do have day jobs that fuel our passion. Moritz is working on a spin-off of that aims to bring a newly developed nanotechnology to market. Shehrina has been working in logistics for 6 years and is part of a team that is developing and commercializing a risk management solution. We’re both active in the new business start-up environment that feed our entrepreneurial spirits and the Mongol Rally is one outlet of living our passions.
In the past Moritz has successfully completed long-distance tours using vehicles with two, three and four wheels through Siberia (in -40 °C), Iceland, India and the Philippines. Jointly, we’ve traveled through the Balkans driving 4000 km through Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia and Slovenia. We’ve journeyed through Morocco, driving 2000 km in 12 days over the Atlas mountains and across the North-African deserts. So we’re no strangers to driving long distances and being on the road.
