Awesome, albeit rainy day, seeing the sights in Udaipur.
We tried what Maria called "Indian cake" today - one bite is delicious, the next not so - but either way guaranteed to leave you with a lasting impression.
On the road again tomorrow, something like 500km to go. . .
We had a huge mileage day yesterday, clocking up 420km. We made it to the outskirts of Udaipur ad treated ourselves to a fancy hotel. We're heading into the city for a day of exploring today.

1,870 kilometres driven, less than a 1000 to go! Next stop Udaipur.

Sometimes driving in the rain with the music pumping and the seat heaters on can be fun. Driving a rickshaw 320km in continual rain is not fun, mainly due to the lack of doors and slow speed. Yesterday was a solid day of progress with two very soggy and cold rickshaw drivers. . .
We had the night in a posh hotel in Nashik and are now on our way to reward ourselves the best way we know - wine tasting!
Lazy day today, a few big days ahead!
We gave a lift to 4 locals, stopped for 12 selfies and hit a million speedbumps en route to Hampi. Made it in time to get a good dose of temples.
After 300km and 12 hours on the road, we made it to shivmogga. We're heading inland to escape NH66 and scenery has been spectacular.
2 people who are terrible at driving and have no sense of direction!
