Who are we?
Kai Arne (59) – The Mechanic
• Survived a wild ride through cancer treatment with chemo, radiation, and surgery. Outcome? Uncertain. Spirit? Stronger than ever.
• Life motto: “If there’s a chance – take it! I’ve never done this before, so I’ll definitely nail it.”
• Runs a small farm with goats, horses, and a gang of cats.
• Loves building stuff: houses, barns, memories, and complete chaos.
• Will absolutely have a screwdriver in his back pocket the entire trip.
Roger (49) – The Captain
• Neighbor, travel buddy, and self-declared captain of this “three-wheeled viking ship.”
• Life motto: Stay open, stay curious – the best things in life are usually unplanned. Life begins at the edge of your comfort zone.
• Also a small-scale farmer, passionate about horses, nature, and building anything that doesn't collapse (too often).
• Obsessed with skiing (ski-touring, telemark and free riding), mountain biking and outdoor life. Has travelled the world to explore outdoor activities but never been to India.
• Fully prepared to navigate through Indian traffic madness – and possibly something even more unpredictable: Kai Arne’s ideas.

Where do we come from?
• Sylling, Lier – a small Norwegian village with big views and bigger personalities.
• We’re next-door neighbors with matching mini-farms, living the good life with animals, sawdust, and a million unfinished projects.
• Life here is fast-paced and full-on… so naturally, we signed up for this totally bonkers mission across India.

Where are we going?
• Start: Fort Kochi, December 30, 2025
• Finish Line: Jaisalmer, January 15, 2026
• The Route: Around 2,800 km of villages, cities, mountains, and desert.
• The Vehicle: A tuk-tuk that may or may not survive the journey. But we will. Probably.

Why are we doing this?
• Because it makes absolutely no sense.
• Because we love throwing ourselves into the unknown.
• Because it’s the most ridiculous and brilliant way to explore a country – part thrill, part terror, all adventure.
• Because we want to meet fellow maniacs from around the world and create stories we’ll laugh at for years.

Our Philosophy
• Life’s too short to sit still.
• If an opportunity comes along – grab it.
• The journey is always more important than the destination.
• And as Kai Arne wisely says: “Never done it before – so I’ll definitely pull it off.”

What we’re looking forward to
• Indian culture and legendary hospitality
• Traffic that sounds like a symphony of honking chaos
• Making friends with fellow fools on the road
• Tasting (and maybe regretting) new food
• Being able to say: “We actually did this!”

So if you spot two grown Norwegian men – one with tools sticking out of his pants and the other steering like a sea captain on land – that’s us.
Ready for 2,800 km of madness, joy, sweat, and laughter.
