After 1.5 hours of sleep we set off early for the Taj Mahal and wern't disappointed. Good to meet a fellow rickshaw contestant at the taj. Tomorrow onwards to Shillong via Calcutta

Welcome to our Great Annual inaugural self guided rickshaw tour of India, blog. We will use this to keep you updated on our progress as we cross the subcontinent of India top to bottom! So far no break downs, were on route Australia to India at 38000 feet safely strapped in to row 2. Breakfast consisted of 2 espresso martinis and banana bread, and we've just come to the realization that we actual don't like road trips very much.
