Shillong, Meghalaya, India
Use dipper at night! We made it! 4206km or Something of territory covered! Average speed = 25km per hour. To sum it all up, it felt like a magic carpet ride - a whole new world (don't you dare close your eyes)

Fire flies and star lit skies. Pushing 4000km tomorrow for Shillong! We'll see.
Raiganj, West Bengal, India
11:30pm arrival which means dogs gone wild. Good thing we had our water gun locked and loaded. Woke up the lodge guard who then called the hospital and then a man on a bike came 30 minutes later to let us in. Covered in dirt we slammed a pepsi then hit the hay.
Dhandad, Jharkhand, India
14 hour driving day without breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We're total slaves to the tuk tuk
Ranchi, Jharkhand, India
Dropping off J-Rod in Ranchi today. We're going to miss you dearly. Go save them Tigers! Hi Elaine and Nick! Then we're gunning for Dhandad tonight (hopefully a 10pm arrival) if our rattle box makes it. So many sounds and we believe everything is lose, but we let the music drown that stuff out.

Rourkela, Jharkhand, India
Didn't make it too Ranchi, but made it to this bad ass hotel in Rourkela! Gym, pool, rain shower.... A day to rejuvenate from our long days in the tuk tuk. Remember they're long days, not long distances.
Ranchi, Jharkhand, India
Heading to Ranchi today - hoping to not venture off the National Highways anymore especially at night in these parts of the country. It's election time and things can get more real. Bye bye state roads for now. We love you. Keeper safe everyone.
Sambalpur, Odisha, India
Averaging speeds of 10km per hour we wound our way of up through some beautiful Park in Odisha - the path less taken / shouldn't ever be taken in a tuk tuk. We found ourselves putting along some tribal communities, where it was a noticeable difference in dress, land use, and overall way of living. Was it worth 12 hours of driving to get 200km? Tough to say it wasn't.
Rayagata, Odisha, India
Bump bump bump goes the road to the north. Tuk tuk away we went. Our day cut short because of some local warnings to not take the road ahead at night.... Some sorta maoist trouble zone, so we called her quits at 2pm.
