Made it to Tansen just b4 dark, Patsy the shaw is doing well.

Alright, 8 hours on a bus that beats any rollercoaster I have ever been on was quite an experience. Will never bitch and moan about the public transport or roads (or toilets) back home.

Still, this place is amazing.

Lots of tourists here, there is a festival going in so foodstals everywhere.

Amazed that the Aleem "roadrage" Ishmael managed to sleep on the bus, guess its the shortage of sugar that made him pass out. 

Trying to find out where the start of the race is, could be good to know before the race starts.

WE arrived to the Capital

Well we have made it to Kathmandu, and its great.

A bit overwhelming but still very cool 

No heating in the hotel at all, and its well cold, so clothes on and sleepingbag in the hotel bed.

 Have been doing some sightseeing and heading to Pokhara tomorrow morning (6.30 in the morning yay...not) nd going by bus. Cheaper, hopefully safer and allows us see a bit of the place.

 All good so far,except this netbook i am using is not my fat fingers to type very fast, and its half broken as the battery wont charge.

 WEll, its arond 12 at night here so will head out and see if i can find some decent streetfood and then hit bed.

 

I love my planing skills...

I love my planing/packing skills................or maybe not.

I guess the people who know me knows about my packing skills when i'm about to travel, and yes, you are all right. I have done it again, and will spend the night packing the last bits and bobbs.

Thoughts so far....

Is there any deodorant out there that can kill the smell of 2 weeks without showering ?

Was our purple and pink checkered pimping design a good choice ? 

Will we be able to do some drifting with the Rickshaw ?

How much bling can the "shaw" handle ?

Nervous

Alright, so the first blogpost :-)

 

I would lie to you all if i said i'm not nervous at all, lately I have had dreams about being chased by Tigers and trying to whip the Rickshaw beyond 55 km/h to try and escape.

So important facts to find out before the trip could be.

1. What is the maximum speed of Tigers, and how can we improve the performance of the 2-stoke rickshaw engine.

2. Are all elephants friendly....
