Made good time today... actually got to where we wanted to be without incidence. Stayed in kampur last night and had dinner with a local spy... Adam finally saw a king cobra. Ross nearly crashed 3 times, might have a lie in tomorrow, getting up at sunrise to see Taj Mahal and then heading to Jaipur.
Varanasi
Finally, we have made it! Just did a quick tour of the Ghats. Going to head off early again tomorrow, as we have lost loads of time...

We haven't had much of a chance to keep updating... we haven't seen a internet cafe or bank for days. We all hate Bihar (note to all - never coming back!). Rickshaw has had it's moments... Dee has crashed it once and it love's to breakdown in the middle of nowhere.
Hopefully, we will get to Varanasi today... where we will take a break for a day.

I mean, we are blindly trying to navigate our way across a huge country where 66% of our team has never been, whilst risking our lives on a glorified lawnmower, so we appreciate it :P</font></font><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><font size="3">I'm guessing you will know the details by this point but for those of you that don't.....</font></font> </strong><p><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif" size="3"><strong>On the 11th September we set off from Gangtok, Sikkim, India on a motorised rickshaw (top speed 50kmph) and have to travel 2000km, unaided across India to reach our destination of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.</strong></font></p><p><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif" size="3"><strong>The journey involves mountains, deserts, cities, rivers and crazy dangers a plenty and should take around 2 weeks to complete. During this time we could partake in the delights of the Indian tourist industry and stay in hotels along the way....... We could..... but being rather stupid & extremely poor we will be staying in huts, tents & probably even the rickshaw itself for a few nights !!</strong></font></p><p><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><font size="3"><strong>French kissing a king cobra, tickling a tigers tummy & swallowing a scorpion in our sleep are all high on the list of 'must do's' but first and foremost, our goal is to raise a disgustingly large sum of money for charity.
