First day of complete awesomeness!
![file] We've driven 220 km on the first day - this has been one h*** of a ride! We started out being compeletely innocent victims of the super-amazingly-shitty monsoon. The roads were practically flooded when we drove down the mountains of Meghalaya - and our luggage was as well. Fortunately Jeppe had his fancy bathing shorts on... He was SOAKED!
Apart from that there has been no real problems - Well.. We've had one breakdown (thanks to the John Deer team for saving our ass big time. We had no clue what was wrong, promising huh??)
We've met Eba and Reidar from Norway and we're having a great time getting lost on the Indian roads that is having almost no!!!) signs. To be absolutely honest: our route changed significally when we suddenly found out we were in a city called Boko.. After have been driving 140 km we actually thought we were 50km north of Boko... On the other side of a humongeous river... Well, we were NOT!
It turned out pretty well - and we think this is the whole point of the Rickshaw Run; get lost and have fun doing so. We definitely had!
Time for Indian food now, then sleep, then up tomorrow at 5 AM. The life of a Rickshaw Runner!
