Huancayo, Peru
We've just rolled into huancayo after hectic day. between the 2 mOtO-taxis in Our convOy, we've had One chain snap, 18 out of 32 spokes break (buckling the wheel, which needed realigning), exhaust bracket snapped (needed welding), rear right wheel seized, chain fell Off 3 times (needed to realign middle sprockets), 2 jerry cans fell Off (due to bad packing), fuel line split and we had a minor crash with a sewer, bending the front wheel in half (took 2 mechanics 2 hrs tO straighten)... other than that a great day...@
Chincha Alta, Peru
after a day waiting for an engine rebuild for the sea gypsies we spent the day shopping for tat and fitting a stereo and horn. Time well spent. Now stopped waiting for the rain to pass, looks like it will let up in about 3 months.
