Two blokes in a horribly inappropriate car

Greetings fellow, future ralliers! We are two norwegians that finally have set our minds on participating in the 2017 Mongol Rally. After spending years dreaming about the adventures of past ralliers, we decided that next summer, was going to be OUR YEAR! Me, Petter and my good friend and partner in crime; Jone, set out to buy a car in late summer. We only really had a few requirements to what car we were going to buy (in addition to the rally rules of course!):
1: It needs to be interesting 2: The most important rule of them all!: It can't under any circumstance be a french car.
Ofcourse we went ahead and bought a french car. A 1982 Citrõen GSA to be exact! And a great example of one as well! (well not really...) It had only been driven 79 000km by two old aunts on the norwegian countryside!
It is a perfect showcase of the ingenuity of the french car manufacturers back in the day, with ridiculously complicated suspension (hydraulic with height-adjustment!) and electronics (seriously, you guys wont believie how complicated this turd is). Hopefully it is more reliable than its reputation...
Can't wait to get to know all of you fellow ralliers, its gonna be a hell of a ride!
Peace out
Petter and Jone
