Slow but successful day

Slowish start to the day knowing we had engine issues.. Found a excellent parts guy and mechanic to help us out, we ended up with a bored out engine and shaved head.. Spare top end bore and piston.. Whisky days is hitting 40 just off idle, Bring on the flogging it's going to get in the next 8 days and a new top speed!!

Whiskydays is getting tired!

Early start today and only 10km in the engine locked! Managed to let cool and rock the piston free to get us moving again.. Happened twice more during the day and fell short of lucknow and called it at Kanpur.. Will need to source a new piston and hopefully a new cylinder this morning before moving on..

Day 3

Day free, Jaipur to bharatpur, 234km Slower start to today than would have liked after blowing a head gasket on whiskydays late in day 2.. Biggest fail of today was not sorting the beer before leaving Jaipur and none available all day, taking the beer count to a poor 166 only 2 more than yesterday.. Also drinks being a little to cold from the ice box causing brain freeze!!

Running stats: Near misses - lost count Dismounted motorcycle riders-2 (One getting stuck under whisky) Been run off freeways - 4

Very cool place and was worth the break from the hwy for a couple of hours!

Day chew "Jaipur"

Long haul today pulling 353km but arriving just before sundown and slipping straight into a 4 start hotel and getting treated like kings.. Possible head gasket issue but waiting on tools to remove head and replace the gasket.. "Whiskydays" turned 30,000 today and has been running a treat, pulled 210km from a tank..

Stage 2

Crazy day yesterday!! Jaisalmer to jodhpur, 290km and whiskydays is running like a dream! 29951km on the clock so that calls for shotgun celebrations for her 30,000th birthday.. Bring on day 2 and another long drink.. I mean drive!!!
