SMS Update

16/1/2010 Day 15- Cochin: FINISH LINE! The last 150km was not easy. The Rickshaws are in pieces. We crossed the finish line with a coat hanger holding up the exhaust and a clutch cable holding the spark plug cable in place - It wasn't pretty. On the way we Lost Tukelicious and unfortunately finished the race without them. We waited in the bar opposite with a few beers. We checked into our pimpin hotel and them had the task of dropping off the Rickshaw. However, in the time it took us to get ready to getting in the Rickshaw for final time.. We looked out of our balcony to see our Rickshaw rolled onto its side! Long story short..... Blighty! Caught on camera too! We drove to the compound to drop the Rickshaw off with Scott taking the honour of the final drive as dave started and rich finished. We took the opportunity to drive straight into the back of blighty and dent the bumper. We said our goodbyes and didn't look back.. We just carried on walking. On the way to dropping it off we were mobed by local Rickshaw drivers wanting our petrol and rubbish?! We were happy to oblige. They litterally were fighting for our rubbish! Then they saw the tool kit we had up for grabs and they went mental. The only fair way to decide it was a cricket quiz! The guy who won was over the moon. He was jumping around like it was the best gift he had ever recieved. It was worth it just to see his little face! The final party was amaing. That's all we can say. Check out the pictures soon. Since them we have been chilling in Cochin which is lovely and relaxed. Great food and amazig people. The convoy slowly depleting as some had to go home early.
