we have made it!! Got to the finish line yesterday, very happy. Handed over the car (sad times) and sorted out flights home. Going out tonight for a convoy final meal together. Thank you to everyone for the donations to our charities and many thanks to our sponsers, we couldn't of done it without you all. Check for the list of problems with the car and keep an eye out for all the photographs on Facebook. Andrew, Chris and Ewan

Good days off road driving across sandy plains and hit the tarmac! Its so smooth, but has huge pot holes nicknamed game enders. Should be in ub tomorrow! Got a den set up for camp because its pouring down. sorting out flights is proving difficult. C @

sleeping last night was awful strong winds and heavy rain isn't good in a broken tent. Been a cold day with smoother 'roads'. Hit a big rock and broke fuel line, bodged and better now. played menu roulette again and got soup stuff. Off to find somewhere to camp. C

yesterday the Car flew twice over ridges, bottomed out on soft sand that's more like dust, puncture on passenger front side and then a 'policeman' tried to look at our passports so we drove off, some bigger river crossings and generally the car is starting to fall apart from the battering. As a convoy holding up well though. C@

MONGOLIA! We are in the country. And as soon as the russian boarder was over the roads turned into dust tracks. We have been in mongola for about 4 hours and we already have seen a team out of the rally and had cheese tea stuff with locals! Signal is poor so will update when possible. C

had two days good driving and set up camp early. Camped by a river with some germans the other night and then last night camped on the boarder with a load of other teams. Took the cars to the top of a mountain, just, and got some great photos. Had a race to the boarder this morning and now waiting at the boarder while mongolians use every mm of space to push in! C@

well we have had a story to tell today, first of all, everyone is totally fine, 3 drunk russians decided they wanted to fight. The van had its mirror smashed but most important no one was badly hurt. On other news, my tent is broken, a letter will be written to quenchua with my annoyance. Currently in a restaurant ordering without knowing what we are ordering! C

tried camping in a forest but it was surrounded by signs that looked like warnings, a few bunkers and a farm with a watch tower. Took the safe option and camped in a farmers field. C
