Welcome to pour support page for team Sea to Sky for the 2012 South East Asia Rickshaw Run.  As many of you may have heard we will be setting out on an epic adventure across the beautiful country of Indonesia.  Setting out from Bali on a three wheeled Cadillac and we plan to race 24 other teams over 3000 kilometers to through the Sumatran Jungle to the northern city of Medan.  We’re not sure yet what we may encounter upon the way but you can count on plenty of banter and hairy experiences to say the least. And why partake in such an adventure you ask?  Well we wouldn’t be participating in this challenge unless we had a good cause!  We are primarily supporting Action Against Hunger Canada which supports hundreds of different missions in over 40 countries worldwide!  We are joining them in support of their fight against hunger on the front lines and helping give back to some of the world’s most vulnerable people.  With your help and support our goal is to raise $10,000 in light of this wonderful cause!  And how can you help you might ask?  Well the obvious answer would be to donate money by following the links on our team page!  We are also in planning stages of several exciting events including a pub night and auction at Shanks in the Starlight Casio, and also in the works of planning a poker night!  We are hoping that these events will make us successful in achieving our fundraising targets.  Details and dates to come soon! We hope that YOU can help us reach our goal of $10,000 to fight against hunger!  Even if you can’t donate, we’d love it if you could spread the word, maybe tell your friends about the race or even give us a like on Facebook!
