Mongol Rally 2015 Sign Up
Well we have finally taken up the challenge with the Adventurists and signed to join the Mongol Rally 2015.
Being 2 old farts we really should know better but Oh well here goes!!!
This really will be the adventure of a lifetime with a 10,000 mile journey in front of us. We are taking part in this to help raise much needed finance and awareness to the mental health charity Mind.
Ever thought of driving 11,000 miles totally unsupported, participating in an adventure of a lifetime crossing 20 Countries all in the name of charity? Nope? Now, you have.
So, who is daft enough to take on this challenge?
I guess we are!!!
We are John & Alexa, and we are participating in the Mongol Rally 2015.
So, we may be twice the age of the average participant but this shouldn’t be a reason not to do the Mongol Rally. You are as old as you feel, right??? Hmmm. We’ve got more experience of life!!! Hmmm, not sure that will work or get us through it either.....
2 old foggies about to embark on this 10,000 mile+ journey to help raise awareness and hopefully much needed funds for Mind.
We intend to make this even more difficult for ourselves by electing not to use either motorways or dual carriageways (unless no other choice)
