the longest yard
300km took us 12h today with no major stops. Most of it was off-road on gravel and sand. All great fun and games through the back roads of Rajasthan where we saw a different side to India and met some great people. Finally arrived in Barmer today which leaves us with 150km for tomorrow. Piece of cake.. or kale for the vegans out there.

Udaipur to Barmer
Sad to leave Udaipur this morning, it has been our favourite place of the trip. We’re giving Jodhpur a miss on the way over to Jaisalmer as we’ll have a day there before we return.
Nice to be back on the road!

my way or the high way
We are caning it up the highway today to reach Udaipur before dark. Making great progress so far with few interruptions and not very much traffic luckily. With the heat and the monotony of going in a straight line it is easy to forget that anything could happen at any moment. We were sorry to hear of one team’s accident today, luckily everyone walked away. Stay alert everyone, we are so close now!!
3 geeks who decided they should really get out a bit more, and thought the roads of India should be their first stab at it.
ADITO support existing registered charities or registered NGOs (Non Government Organisations) that care for women, children and animals – predominantly in India. Their long term goal for ADITO is to buy a plot of land near Margao, South Goa, and to build a purpose-built shelter for abused women and their children, where we are able to rehabilitate them in a safe and peaceful environment
