Doing most of the work is Shaun, a recently unemployed Australian who has an uncanny love for deep fried chicken and making shampoo mohawks. His counterpart, Vikul, (often referred to as "ballast") , is an Indian national who, as a result of some enormous clerical error no doubt, has been admitted to Harvard to study his MBA. Neither member can read a map or possesses any navigational skills whatsoever. Neither member speaks a word of spanish. In addition, their biking experience is somewhat lacking. Shaun fell off one when he was 8 years old at a fair, and has since watched them from a distance on TV. Luckily, Vikul is pretty familiar with motorbike parts, having often wrestled them out of his front grill, along with hair and clothing, after driving in New Delhi traffic. </span></font></p><p><font class="Apple-style-span" face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small">Both are Engineers by trade. This means, that by just looking at a standard jam jar, they could calculate its circumference to several decimal places and work out its bouyancy in fresh water. Unfortunately, it also means neither of them will be able to open it. Nevertheless, they are about to embark on a journey of untold proportions, all in the name of charity and good old fashioned adventure. </span></font></p><p><font class="Apple-style-span" face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small">You can support them by making a righteous donation to their charity of choice, Practical Action.
