Saint Petersburg... The last stop before Europe! Been a hell of a long drive through Russia
safely made it back in to Russia and officially finished the Mongol Rally yesterday !! We did it!
Went across the Steppe North then did the scenic Central route through Mongolia... Now mere hours from Ulaanbaatar where the rally used to finish
Arrived into Mongolia yesterday and stayed in Ulgii.. Now driving over a confusing mix of tarmac and dirt to get towards Altai
Made it into Russia! Easy 2 hour border crossing with no hassle and good roads
Made it to Semy after 3 long tough days driving through rural Kazakhstan wild camping at a beach and a forest... Russia tomorrow!

Pamir Highway Day 2- Very slow going along the river bordering Afghanistan and made only 115 miles in 7 hours to Khorog. Roads improved alot and we made it another 75 miles up to 3500m where found a sheltered place to camp with The Cardashians
Going from Uzbekistan into mountainous Tajikistan was a very welcome change of scenery and a good introduction to the days ahead. Staying in the capital Dushanbe with some other teams relaxing and seeing the new city and it's organised layout

They rely almost wholly on the generous donations of the UK public and believe that everybody deserves a life free of kidney disease. I picked this as our charity as myself and brother/team mate Nick lost our Dad in 2017 due to some complications from the disease.
