Anthony is undertaking 3 very important roles he is completely unqualified for, to enable the safe delivery of ‘The Eagle’ to Ulan-Ude via 17 Golf Courses.
With a background in technology and e-commerce, Anthony is confident that the solution to any mechanical problems and supplies shortages will be to order kit online to be shipped to the next check-point...let’s hope they don’t use snail mail!

Anthony Millet and Patrick Colquhoun are shortly to commence the Mongol Rally 2015, driving from London to Mongolia in a highly unsuitable vintage 1986 Porsche 944.
Most teams struggle to complete the challenge without the additional task of playing golf in every single country en route – are we mad?!
Our route will see us travel through up to 18 countries, covering some 11,000 miles and 18 rounds of golf. We will encounter some of the worst roads (not even sure you can call them roads), corrupt border officials, and undoubtedly many mechanical difficulties. We will also encounter some of the most incredible less trodden/visited parts of the world including the old silk road, the Pamir Highway, and some of the most generous and humbling people (will confirm on our return!).
Are we crazy – probably – and why the golf? Well we are both golf enthusiasts (but pretty poor ones, with a handicap of 18) – we figured seeing as we are going all this way, why not explore some of the worlds best golf courses – our route will see us take huge diversions to play them, and also involve us building the first course in Turkmenistan. The car has been heavily modified for the golf theme as you will see in the picutres!
Why are we doing this? Quite simply we are doing this to raise money for a fabulous charity – Broomwood in Ethiopia.
Broomwood in Ethiopia have set up and entirely funded St George's School Ethiopia providing education, meals, uniform and health checks to vulnerable young children, many of whom have been orphaned.
We are aiming to transform the lives of some of the children from this poor community. We have already held a successful fundraiser in London with over 200 guests but and in order to raise as much as possible we are also trying to build the profile of the adventure and charity through press coverage. To date we have raised over £23,000 online and offline.
We have been very lucky to have been supported by so many individuals and sponsors – all of who can be seen on our official website.

Mechanical Sponsor - we wouldn't be at the start line without them - thank you to Ray, Rob and the team who helped us with the car
Golf App Sponsor - have mapped all our courses for us!
Ensuring our beards doesn't grow
With P2P's help, we will ensure that spare parts are shipped to us in super quick time
John Spooner is the man to help you with your car needs (buying/selling or general advice). John generously gave up his time to help us find the Porsche 944, and has been a pillar of expertise and support ever since.
Amazing luggage for an amazing adventure - despite mixed terrains, dust filled roads, and other alien environments, our overboard luggage will keep our pants (unworn) clean.
We couldn't set off without thanks to the creators of these unique roof top carry bags (seriously we looked everywhere, and Rightline are the only people clever enough to have seen this market niche).... they are super high in quality - let's see if we still have them at the finish line.
Armed with 2 sets of top of the range golf clubs, golf bags, t-shirts, caps and tees - we were thrilled that Yonex wished to partner with us on this noble adventure, for an excellent cause. Thank you to Dom and the team at Yonex - now let's hope we do this equipment the justice it deserves.
Digital Marketing Ninja's. No more to be said.
In case we need cat food on our journey ?!?!?! Huh?! Ok seriously, we hopefully won't need any, and won't be giving it away as bribes, but they do make seriously good cat food and treats.
Established and synonymous with sporting goods - we might need to leverage their tyre relationships at some point!
Hugely grateful to this supplier of printed Golf Balls - we are now armed with 200 Team Mongolf Balls to impress fellow golfers, golf clubs and border guards.
These balls and this brand is just too cool.
With thanks to Kate at TGHP - she has created our amazing website.
