Team Team Usain Colt

Alec

Alec has very much risen from nowhere this year, to become the driving force behind Usain Colt's emergence as a key player in the 2012 Mongol Rally. There when the idea of doing the rally was conceived, during a fateful conversation in a London pub in November 2011, he has gone on to epitomise the sense of derring-do that characterises the team's spirit. Whilst lacking experience in the field of intercontinental road trips, his leadership has been praised following his efforts to whip the notoriously difficult to manage Harrison Boar and Alex Dixon into shape.

Bobby

A seasoned veteran when it comes to travelling the world, Bobby adds much needed experience to Usain Colt's line up. His considerable nous and facial hair are viewed as such an asset to the team, that he has been flown back from New Zealand especially to be a heavy weight figure in the car. However, it has been reported that team management have realised that the fact that he is a heavy weight could be a considerable disadvantage. Persistent rumours about his fitness, and nagging questions about whether he is past his best, have somewhat dampened the sense of euphoria brought about by his return from New Zealand. Will his body be able to cope with 9,000 km of driving? We will have to wait and see.

Alex

Alexander Dixon has always been thought of as a man of great communicative prowess. His charismatic personality coupled with his talent as a word-smith have seen him lead the team successfully, in complicated and drawn out negotiations with notoriously hard nosed organisations, such as the Children's Trust. It has however been suggested by some sources, that Alex's natural charm covers up a range of other faults. One unnamed individual has even gone as far as to describe him as being all banter no substance. How Alex responds to these allegations could be the key to the success of Usain Colt this summer.

Harrison

A man capable of going from the sublime to the ridiculous and then back to the sublime again in the space of a couple of seconds, Harrison Boar is without doubt the "Mario Balotelli" of Usain Colt's line-up. Whilst the value of his talent and potential goes without saying, he has up until this point mostly wasted his assets, through inconsistency, making strange decisions, and wearing disgustingly coloured t-shirts. Many are convinced however that Harrison has been showing considerably improved focus in recent months, and that in 2012 with Usain Colt, he has finally found his moment to shine. Whatever happens to Harrison this summer, it will certainly be entertaining.
