Night driving

So our cruzy day of a sleep in and having a look round the shops yesterday morning was a slight downfall when we got to where we thought we would stay the night turns out it was a shithole in the middle of nowhere, night driving it was I handed over the reins to Jendi couldn't imagine the look on her face if I was driving. Heading the wrong way up the road and dealing with bridges that didn't seem to exist we made it to a place to rest out head. Mosquito net and sleeping silks where out again and both awake a 6 but one more sleep and adventure will be over

So we drove a staggering 475+ km today over about 13 hours. Had a 4.30am start which didn't go so smoothly had to change the battery before we even left off, so far our only delay. Landscape changed again today we are now in tea country the plantations are amazing and only going to get better as we head into the hills. I had my 1st prober sleep in Steve can't believe it's taken so long and Jendi didn't manage a picture with my pants on my head so stop the 40 degree sun. More selfies more chips lots of water and we just pulled into a hotel that has cocktails!!!!! Couple hours in day 8- we think

Patna

9 hours under the belt, off early - Steve runs really well in the cool mornings but we limped in this afternoon and he was pretty hot was our Steve, not as hot as Mctaggart and I! Apparently it was 42 degrees but I disagree it had to be at least 45!

A few mobbings on the side of the road and an encounter with the police and their guns but safe and sound and in Patna the capital of Bihar tonight- looking to get a few kms under the belt again tomorrow and clear the state of Bihar

All in all we are enjoying this awesome adventure, would like to bring Steve home!!

Just relaxing by the pool today and had a sleep in and pancakes for breakfast

Caught up with heaps of teams here and having a blast, Steve is in getting a service as we speak, including wheel rotation!!!

Going with couple of German guys to watch sunset on Ganges tonight and off early tomorrow morning shooting for Patna!
