<h1><font face="comic sans ms,sans-serif">&nbsp;A Forced Change in Plans</font><br /></h1><p>Regrettably this entry to our blog brings sad news.&nbsp; Just days after we have completed all of the obligations for particpation and got the last of our visas, we've hit an insurmountable snag.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>We must announce that TeamBob will be unable to participate in the 2011 Mongol Rally. &nbsp;</p><p>Over the past ten days T.O.G. has been diagnosed with a serious heart condition and is in need of surgery in the immediate future.&nbsp; Doctors have restricted travel until the operation and for some unknown period after.&nbsp; Luckily the condition is treatable and the surgery should bring the old guy back to top form.&nbsp; The rest of the team has decided that it would be unfair to participate in the Rally without him and has made a formal request to defer our entry until the 2012 Rally.&nbsp; If all goes well, TeamBob will we at the start line a year from now ready to take on one of the most bizarre adventures in the world.&nbsp;</p><p>TeamBob remains upbeat and just as crazy as we were two weeks ago and we cannot wait until July 2012.&nbsp;&nbsp; In the meantime, we will follow the blogs and particpate vicariously. &nbsp; </p><p>Bonne Chance</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><font face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="4">TeamBob's Story</font></p><font face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="2">We have a new addition to TeamBob.&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>BIG BOB</strong> will be travelling with us.</font><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center"><img src="images/gallery09/5324/59903/400x400.jpeg" /></div><br /><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden" /><!--Session data--><input id="jsProxy" onclick="jsCall();" type="hidden" /><div id="refHTML"></div>
