So yesterday was interesting. Drive into a thunderstorm in an open plain. It then started to hail before I sent the car into a very deep river. Took us an hour to get towed out but a truck and 4x4... Car still running fine somehow. Dont worry got it all on camera. Clear sky's tody and tarmac to UB! Just one day of driving left. #mr

2500m up and all 4 cars in the convoy are at the mechanics. Ours just needs spare tires. Suzuki alto stuck in third gear with no rear shocks. Suzuki Lianna overheats if not driven above 50 and the Renault Scenic can only change gears when the engine is off... Great stuff... #mr

Just had our first visit to a garage after a troublesome day yday starting the car. Thought it was starter motor but new battery was the cure and now on way to Mongolia. Managed to do some serious sidewall damage to the back left tyre so changed that as well. First tyre change of the trip! Sure there are more to come. #mr
