Not really an update if it's late but the little tuk that we thought wouldn't actually did. Made it to Calcutta for two well deserved luxe days. Headed back to road chaos today. Now in some roadside Hotel Royal, en route to Siliguri. Hope to reach Sikkim in two days. @

night driving in india, nough said! Forget drugs, kids dont drive at night round these parts. We somehow made it and on our way to Calcutta now. after 2 nights in hotels that should be erased from memory for ever we about to live it up.

Left the less than lovely Hotel Moti with a quickness this morning. Berhampur bars ladies from the bars, fyi. And today, the rickshaw frame snapped in two places so we needed a welder yet again. Will the mechanical problems ever end? Hope to chill in Calcuua tmrw.

Impomptu rickshaw reunion on Highway 5 with Barack Oshwama, Kiss My Rickshaw and India Straits. So we're not alone taking up rear after all.
