Ways you can help!

1.) Donate to our charities! The goal of this misadventure is to support two charities:

We need to raise at least £500 (~$800) for each charity, but hopefully we can raise much more. Try to make the donation in our name so that we can keep track. 

2.) We're going to be flying from NYC to London, and it's hard to pack all that I think we might need into a suitcase, so if anyone knows anyone in the UK (or is someone in the UK) that would be willing to allow us to ship/store a few things at their address, we would greatly appreciate it (and buy you beer). 

3.) We also might need help buying and registering a car in the UK. If anyone would be willing to pick up and park a car for us, we'd be massively grateful (and buy you beer).  

4.) I want to be as prepared as possible, I've started an expense spreadsheet which I'm sure is comically incomplete, so if anyone that's done this before could take a look and make sure I'm not drastically off on some of my estimates it would be a huge help. I'll be adding a sheet of all of the items we plan on bringing, which I'm sure will be lacking in many areas and overly cautious in others, so any tips would be hugely helpful.

5.) I can't immediately find a good way from Mongolia to Beijing, if anyone knows a reliable well-ish travelled route I'd appreciate a tip. 

6.) My plan right now is to find someone that needs to have their car shipped accross the US from California to New York, and we can do it for free. We could even pay for gas! I previously had a website that connected people for doing this, but it looks like it shut down. Anyone know of a good resource for connecting people for this sort of thing? Or better yet, anyone have a car they need shipped to New York? 

This is all I can think of right now, and are major things I'm worried about, at least in the short term.
