Kerala, India
Made it. Team 71 to arrive (out of 77), we were hoping for the last place wooden spoon. Such an adventure so many stories to tell, memories to keep, adventures to relive. For now though its farewell Delilah, our sweet Indian Tiger.

Kerala, India
Oh my word, NH17 worst road in India, kamakaze, suicidal, death wished bus drivers that have even chased the cows away. Even they are not stupid enough to tackle this road. Hours of white knuckled, bone crunching journey. Touch wood unscathed. Never have the words "There by the grace of God go I" been more apt. Tomorrow hopefully Kochi.
, Bekal Beach, Kerala
Had our first puncture of the trip, our adventurist tool kit didn't have the correct spanner but we just happened to get the puncture outside a gentleman's house who did and just about 10km down the road was a puncture repair shop open on a Sunday. Road angels looking after us again. Gotta love India. Boys feeling better, curry back on menu.
, Palolem Beach, Goa
Didn't get very far yesterday, stopped in at Palolem and stayed. A tropical paradise. Both boys man down with stomach ailments, Indian food got to them eventually, so staying another day.... Close to a toilet!!
, Pavagadh, Gujarat
Delilah purred like the Indian Tiger she is, all the way up to Hotel Champaner. Looking forward to spectacular views over Gujarat tomorrow.
Jaisalmer, India
Took the long route to Jaisalmer via 20 hour train from Delhi (most competitors flew....), bowels still in tact. 3 days in, tuk-tuk still on way from Jodphur (Indian time), pimping garlands bought. Designated roles so far.. Julie "I don't want to practice too much or else I'll get bored" Driver, Kevin "I think you're undercharging me" Negotiator, and Steve "where are my glasses, oh I'm wearing them..." Navigator!!!
Jaisalmer, India
just testing the texting blog update option.
The Countdown has begun
Well, this is day one and we can't figure out how to set up the website.
Kevin Duke is an attorney who loves off beat adventures and travel, especially if it is for a good cause. He was a champion scooter driver when he was four and therefore is probably the more skilled driver of his teammates, however his map reading skills are crap and his mechanical skills are non-existent. His lawyer negotiation skills will be useful in negotiating tricky traffic situations. Perfectly suited for this epic adventure.
Bring on the adventure
