So. Back in a WiFi zone. Thursday started off finding a mechanic for a quick buke once over. Then we headed into the abyss. Slow going at 4300m but a beautiful climb on a ‘track’ I think the map calls it. Didn’t get where we wanted to but we needed another mechanic and there was a ‘hostel’ there. But 3 alpaca blankets keeps anyone warm
Made it to Huancayo. Via Pampas and about 4300m of altitude. Arrived a tad late. A hectic night time ride through a very busy town for 40 mins. Where are we off to today?
Successful day one. Some epic riding and a few challenges for some fellow monkeys. Hopefully going to make it to Pampas tomorrow.

42, Living in Hong Kong for the last 11 years. Had a few interesting bike trips to India, Vietnam, China (on the Urals cousin a CJ 750 side car set up). A friend saw the Ice run a few years ago and here we are.
