Uvurkhangai, Mongolia
Woke up feeling like Christmas Day today, final stretch to the finish line, so excited! Going to have a huge meal and alot of beers! The front strut is still leaning nicely, hopefully we make it with 4 wheels on the car.
Bayankhongor, Mongolia
We managed to bodge our strut with one off another car, the otherside is a bit bent with a bent shock too, limping the car to ulan batar! Just pulled over for a photo with a trucker and his family, he shared his alcoholic yak milk with us! Yummy!!
Govi-Altai, Mongolia
Snapped the front stut on the panda and the wheel nearly fell off! Just waiting for a lorry to pick us up and take us to Altai, lucky we are only 36 miles away, going to find some new shocks and weld up / re-enforce our struts tomorrow. We will make it to ulan batar!
Khovd, Mongolia
Made it to khorg, eating in the winners restaurant, no idea what we've ordered! But it looks good. Mongolian amazing, great scenery, not so great roads, if you can call them a road?

Were in Baku baby! Checked into a nice hotel whilst we sort out our visas and to wait for the rusty boat to Turkmenistan. The hotel garden restaurant next door had 4 lambs in a pen and as we sat down they were beheaded skinned and I think we had it for dinner. There was 1 left when we left...

6 hours at the border last night, then slept in the car, started the morning off with a speeding fine, they wanted $100 they got $20. 30 litres of fuel was £15 apart from that Azerbaijan is pants.
Shida Kartli, Georgia
On our way to the Azerbaijan border.
Akhaltsikhe, Georgia
3200 miles done, we've got 6 hours drive to T'Bilisi on dusty cliffside mountain track which is the main route! Must be atleast 2500m altitude, been going up for hours! Camping tonight in the mountains again. Georgia's nice, 80p a litre fuel and 80p a litre beer. Were fully stocked up on both.
