We have died and gone to Siliguri
After a very rough 3 days we have made it to Siliguri! Any other teams around and up for grabbing a few drinks? It's so clean and orderly here and TRAFFIC LIGHTS (never thought we would be happy to see those)

Here we go
After a very hectic morning we are off to India! Goodbye USA and all the safe foods we know and trust.Thank you to everyone that donated to support our race and those that still plan on making a donation (that's right it's not to late) Also thanks to our friends that helped out in other ways Sylvia for getting us to the airport, Alexis for letting us park at her place, Amber for lending me her hiking backpack, Nani for editing logos and TJ's Texas BBQ for sponsoring us :)
5 days and a wakeup until we are in India!
We keep telling ourselves: "This is really happening, you really signed up for this!" otherwise I wouldn't believe it was true. After spending some time reading other team blogs I feel a lot less crazy, and also really impressed with some of the badasses on here! We can't wait to party with you next week -Team Indian Nights

Our Great Adventure
Well here it is our first blog entry.... its 2015 and roughly 90 days away from the start of our biggest adventure. We are finally piecing together what exactly we will need for this trip. At the top of Matt's list is a GoPro to help capture all the shenanigans, what costumes we should wear for the pre and post party etc. I am more practically minded so I'm thinking how can we pre-wire this rickshaw to charge our phones and maybe install some lighting it will be interesting to see which of us is tech savy enough to make that happen. I finally set up a FB page and our coolearth page stop by those as well! The charity is for a great cause, please donate. Not to mention that at this point the prestigious honor of being the first person to donate is up for grabs (better hurry I just set up the page and I am sure it wont last long)
Visit our page again soon for the unveiling of our team name!!
Matt is the party animal extrovert extraordinaire of the two of us he will be incharge of relationship building and all things social along the way, while I will be the voice of reason that keeps us alive , out of trouble, and relatively on course. Check back on us as I (Annalisa) narrate our efforts to prepare for this wholly un-preparable race.
We are a family run business and our goal is to let the world (starting with KY) taste our amazing BBQ. The Pitmaster, TJ (Justo) was born and raised in Texas. He is currently stationed at Ft. Knox, KY where, to his dismay, he has been unable to locate a decent BBQ facility. As a result he smokes his own so that other's may enjoy it.
