I'm very sorry to say that the punto of power has gone to a better place (scrap yard). The sand that she took into the engine was as we feared terminal! Still gutted but we take solace in the fact that when she did give up we where leading the rally by 2hrs. Thanks go to everyone who helped us get this far you all Know who you are.

said goodbye to dancing Dave Gray this afternoon, then we headed for the slovakian border tried to find a suitable place to camp for the night with little success so opted for an unsuitable place ( very random farmers field) let's hope he has a sense of humour and doesn't try to shoot us. beards are coming along well.

The two fools who are taking on this crazy adventure are Ben kingshott and James burfitt we are both working for HRH at Raf brize norton. Each year our squadron tries to take part in a fundrasing event (last year this was driving two robin reliants from tamworth to Gibraltar with 6 heavy set engineers in them no mean feat) and this year we are taking on the legendary mongol rally. Now that we our offcialy cleared to do it all that is left is to source a vehicle, plan a route, get sponsorship, get visas.............ok well their is quite alot </font></p>
