FINISHED
After a lot of blood, sweat, and tears we made it to the finish line in Ulan-Ude! Our trusty Fiesta is being held together by just as many zip-ties as screws by now, but nevertheless, she is still running! A big thank you to all of those who have helped & supported us along the way!
UB
Spent the night being driven to UB on the back of a flatbed truck - very rough ride, but we made it to the capital and got a new fuel pump fitted! Time for our final push towards Ulan Ude!
Middle of the Gobi Desert
Sliced open a tire hitting a rock - easy fix.
Broke our fuel pump from excessive rattling - not an easy fix.
Kohvd, Mongolia
Got stuck in a river and our car flooded up to the steering wheel. Lost an iphone and our starter motor to the incident, other than that all is well!
Tsagaannuur, Mongolia
After staying in a hostel/brothel cross over in Siberia and spending 6 hours at the boarder we made it into Mongolia!
Barnaul, Russia
Where pot holes are big enough to swallow entire cars
Almaty, Kazachstan
After a one day break in Almaty to get a new clutch fitted we are on the road again, headed north towards Russia. Thanks to Ansar for all his help and hospitality!
Spending the night in...
Spending the night in our car in no mans land between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan together with 40 trucks and a pack of wild dogs.
Update - a bank breaking 2 dollar bribe later and we are through to Kazachstan!

Bayramaly, Turkmenistan
Back on the road again thanks to the crafty hands of the Gurdow family, some of the most talented mechanics we hage met. In
