First donation!!
We've done it! We've got our first donation before Colquhoun! The third of many victories over the little man!
No but seriously it's great to get off the mark. As much fun as we think this will be the whole point of the rally is to raise money for charity and we are supporting two great causes!
Cool Earth is a charity which works with indigenous tribes to protect rainforests. The aim is to educate tribes on how they can make a long term living from the rainforest rather than simply chopping it down for a short term injection of cash.
Cancer Research UK raises a huge amount of money each year to fund research on how to treat and hopefully eventually cure cancer. As someone who has known close family members seriously affected by cancer this is particularly close to my heart.
Any money that we raise goes directly to the charities and we really appreciate anything you can give, so thank you in advance.

The Dream is finally a Reality!
I've done it! I've signed up before Colquhoun! The first of many victories over the little man!
3 years down the line from when I first heard about the Mongol Rally and I've finally signed up. On the promise that my mates will join me, and the hope that my finances will stretch far enough, I've committed to driving thousands of miles from the UK to Mongolia. Seems kind of stupid when you put it like that...
