Team Two Brits, an Irishman and a Swede Walk into a Car

We are fundraising for the Ynys Dawel ward (Ward 6) of Cynon Valley Hospital in Wales. This is a dedicated hospice ward, which provides end of life care and support for thousands of terminally ill patients every year. Palliative care in Wales is severely underfunded and provides essential support and healthcare to those at the end of their life and their families, which is why we see them as a perfect recipient of our fundraising. Our team also has a personal connection to the ward, as in the summer it was where a close friend of the team’s father was cared for and died following a battle with cancer, which is an extra motivation for us to complete this fundraising.
