Budapest!!!
Challenge No.2 Success
UPDATE: Clutch is now better than ever and coolant leak seems OK. Bought a few emergency repair items and now heading for Hungary.
Challenge No.2
Made the pitstop in Heidelberg! Set off yesterday and crossed Germany and stopped by the Austrian border. Set up camp. Slept well. Needed after the pitstop :) Have got a few issues with the car & after investigation they are a coolant leak from a metal pipe under the manifold (needs parts) and a clutch problem which we think might be ok, just needs testing. Car is going back together then need to find parts and fix before going any further. Fingers crossed.
Challenge no. 1
Right... So we found a place to camp last night and then received our 1st challenge. Our medical fridge had stopped working! Yikes... Being the cool, calm and collected people we are, we didn't panic.... Well not completely... Found that the problem was lack of power as the split charge fuse had failed. Replaced the fuse & a beady eye will be kept on that as may need to do some modification.

Bonsoir France... Ou est le camping?
So we've made it to France... Found a pitch just outside Dunkirk... Time for some sleep...!
Launch day...!
After not much sleep we packed up the car and headed to the paddock at Goodwood... We were in the first group and so headed on to the circuit around 11am... Around 100 crappy cars lined up for their lap round the circuit before we all head off to the Unknown...![file](//uploaded-files.theadventurists.com/images/blog/cd086bfd9308f3de3695e7e769172a15e19bdef0.jpeg)
And it begins...
It's finally here... Little car all loaded up and we're ready to go. Route sorted on sat nav & off we go...![file](//uploaded-files.theadventurists.com/images/blog/0c9171031ba33a11cfa8df07b60fddd1cff6f846.jpeg)
