I guess I'm a blogger now?
As a way to not take up your entire Facebook feed I felt this was a better alternative.
Who:Bobby Herrman, Rishi Patel
What: Driving a rickshaw across India for charity [This is an auto rickshaw](http://thecityfix.com/files/2010/03/Auto-rickshaw-driver.jpg)
When: August 2nd to August 20th
Where: Well India of course. Specifically Shillong to Cochin
Why: Is the saying "why not?" too cliché? Well then because we wanted to go on a ridiculous adventure so why not make it for a good cause.
Pretty much we'll be driving a vehicle that runs on a lawn mower engine across the anything but smooth roads of India for charity. Now as a sponsor of the event a certain portion of the donations have to go to [Cool Earth](http://www.coolearth.org/514/rainforest-conservation-in-war-torn-dr-congo), who are a group of really cool people saving the rainforests, but we also wanted to give back to the country that will be giving us so much (hopefully not diarrhea). So we are also fundraising for an organization known as [FRANK Water](http://www.frankwater.com/) that promotes developing and implementing clean water initiatives in rural India. Access to clean water is a big problem globally and India's borderline unsustainable population level, which is still growing, combined with contamination of the stressed natural resources has multiplied the problem significantly. We hope you can help us reach our goal and remember even the smallest donation helps.

Since this is 'Murica we leave the choice of which cause you'd like to support up to you, but as my good friend Ashkon Nosrat likes to say "Porque no los dos?"
So as not to leave you guys empty handed we'll be filming our entire journey and eventually posting it for all to see once we get access to internet. So whether you want to see our journey through India for the good times or you are a schadenfreude(yea i looked that up) and just want to see us suffer, which we will a lot, there will be good times for everyone!
