Team Ulan Bataar Bah'tat

To date

Awoke to baking sunshine in Copenhagen this morning. Our journey so far is 1300 miles but little of that has been in a straight line heading East! Our first night )after being the last team to make it to Goodwood) saw us arrive into Bruges at 3 am. If ever Tiff Needell makes a beeline for you try to avoid it. Whilst grafting with our car stickers Tiff wandered over and got heavily involved in chat )I think he wanted to come) yet did nothing to help out. Bruges over with we headed for Amsterdam where the Monk put some new design ideas to his Tommy Hilfiger employed mate )donøt think the ponchos or romper suits will get past the design board mate). After Amsterdam we headed for the Autobahn and stayed at Dummerzee lake, amazingly the only place Graham had ever been in Germany before, the scene of his Junior World Title Triumph some 20 years ago! The evening in Dummerzee saw us take in a Schlotenfest )loads of strange Germans getting tanked in green blazers). And here we are on Wednesday in Copenhagen ready to head to Stockholm when Monk can drag his behind out of bed!

Cheers

3 Pranksters, 1 knackered 106, no preparation, no mechanical know how, on honeymoon with best mate making up magnificent trio. Team members are: Selina Hulme, Alex MacIntyre and Graham Priestley. Essentially we are 3 teachers who thought this would be a good idea 12 months ago and are less sure of it now it's round the corner. We do have a Haynes Manual and a visa card so we reckon all is well. Follow our progress on this blog, we will update as regularly as we can. Cheers ....
