- Impeccable sense of misdirection often turning the simplest of journeys into lengthy fun filled escapades.

- Uncanny ability to get moving objects stuck in seemingly easily passable places. The list includes but not limited to bicycles, motorcycles, cars, trucks, tractors, excavators and bulldozers.

- Stubborn belief in a vehicles ability to get through stream, rivers... lakes

- Mechanical history that reads like a series of *Look there I fixed it* pictures

Perfect credentials for a nice bike ride through the Andes

I would like to introduce our team for the 2012 Mototaxi Junket: Fear and Roaming in Las Selvas

We are two Kiwi lads, currently living in the urban jungles of London and Jakarta. To be honest, we have no idea of the challenge ahead of us. Neither of us have been to South America. Little-to-no research has been performed, but thats the way we like it. Currently we have successfully booked flights into the country and purchased a £2 map of Peru. Preperation complete?

In less than two weeks we will be launched into the midst of Peru.

I am confident that, even with our complete lack or preperation, we will make mincemeat our of the Peruvian 'roads'. We sincerely hope that it does not happen the other way around

First goal is to make it to the start line!

Shopping list:

Some way to get music happening on the bike?

Gin, how rare is it in Peru?

Updates to follow
