So ham nen berg fuer die nacht gefunden. Hammer aussicht. Rauf war einfach, mal schauen morgen wies mit runterkommen is. Hatten jetzt 3 letzte bier in freier wildbahn, morgen is scho wieder rum. Found our last little hill on top of the world for the last night in the wild. Splashed out and have had 3 whole beers each for the night. Will be interesting getting down the hill in the morning. 1 spoke to change in the morning only the 3rd for the 8 days so far in Mongolia, so think I'm starting to get the hang of them as haven't changed my riding style at all. See ya tomorrow when the adventure is over.

Aloha. Also short kut time. Is dann aber alles gut gegangen. Jim hatte zwar etwas zu kaempfen mit seim moechtegern moped. Desweiteren ham mo zwei mal adac gespielt. Reifenwechsel und leerer tank bei zwei einheimischen.

Well the adventure will be over tomorrow plan on doing the last 100 or so km tomorrow morning before hitting UB. Thought we could squeeze in one more night in the middle of nowhere. Got bored of the sealed road quickly yesterday so it was off up into a valley to join another road, turns out there was multiple river crossings and mud pits. Had a local show us though the deep ones after we lent him a screw driver to drain his carb because he had drowned his bike. Had to push the ct through one bit as it died because it was up to the seat one kick and away again though. Mostly just sealed riding today but detour for tonights camp spot.

First cell reception in Mongolia since we have arrived. 1st night was spent in the mountains after arriving in Mongolia freezing snowing around us. Had a good sleep in that morning as i got up for a pee and a couple of ice crystals hit me, stuff that i said and went back to bed. 2nd night was spent by a river as we didnt want to get wet so late in the day. The next morning we crossed the river water was up to the seat on the ct so it died and i had to push it through. Didnt drown it surprisingly first kick and away again on the otherside. 3rd night wed missed our gas station as these are just dirt roads with tracks going everywhere sometimes so ended up in a diffferent spot than we thought. Sometime when we want to go somewhere we just pick the heading eg mountain in the distance and straight line it. Had a big crash on the ct today surprised i wasnt hurt hit a pot hole that the front wheel almost stopped in back wheel bounced in the air and proceeded to pass me in the air and about 20 meters later we hit the dirt again sliding on our sides. Had to find gas today but had not much local currency managed to get some usd changed at a local shop no idea if the rate was good. Gased and feed now in the tent middle of nowhere another big day tomorrow been managing around 200km day but stuffed by end of it. Wrists arent liking the washing board roads

Well it is freezing had our half day of sun first we have seen in around 5 days. The scenery through the altay mountains was amazing even though we were wet and cold. Now at the boarder about to cross in to mogolia. The boarder aparently closes at 3 on the mongol side so might be in no mans land for the night. Decided to climb a big hill on the ct last night i found the limit the bike wanted to keep going but we rolled over from the torque of the back wheel just a broken mirror and sore bum. Cant say i wont try it again. Fresh snow on the hills fingers and toes starting to numb again

In barnaul for a couple of days staying at nika hotel. On the hunt to mend the cts back wheel as hot a large pot hole coming out of kazakhstan and put a rather large flat spot in the rim. Go over 60 and it doesn't feel too bad. Had a bad night last night after crossing the boarder rain everything wet no fun tent in a pond of water happy now though
