Came thru gobi desert and a big river today.car still running,sort of.600km to ub,but we probably won't make it in time for the party.

Back in the ussr. Border took 9 hours. Met many other teams. Who would have thought siberia would be cold, windy and wet?

passed thru kyrgyz mountains-great!but the wartburg doesn't like going downhills.now waiting at the kazak border.
