Erzurum, Turkey
On to the Iranian border. It's been fun Turkey, even with your crazy roads and even crazier drivers.

Sivas, Turkey
We stopped in the night at a dodgey looking trucker stop. The really friendly manager offered us a place to stay. result!
Ankara, Turkey
We've decided to make straight for Erzurum (over 500miles east) in a bid to get to Iran in 3days rather than 4. Hopefully the gamble will pay off.
Istanbul, Turkey
It's sooo damn hot. Milk was a bad choice!
Sofia, Bulgaria
Got caught in a thunderstorm this morning in Sofia. The rain was a nice change from the blistering heat recently. On to Istanbul!
Pirot, Serbia
first proper near death experience of the rally. Turned a corner in the mountains only to be greeted by an Audi overtaking a truck an 80mph on our side of road. screeching brakes and inches between us an Audi and a truck. The drivers here all have a death wish.
Bucuresti, Romania
Everyone is so suspicious of foreigners here. On the up side we are staying in the most stereo typically eastern european man's house. Think unshaven, wears a wife beater, and communicates by grunting, although we may just be drunk.
Budapest, Hungary
Setting out for Belgrad. We bought some pretty ridiculous headgear and are ready to hit the open road again in style.
South Moravia, Czech Republic
Almost out of the Czech Rep, my favorite country so far on the rally, awesome countryside, beautiful weather, and it's full of eccentric friendly people. Of course my opinion is kinda biased as we spent most our time partying in a fucking castle.
Prague, Czech Republic
Back on the road after the Czech Out. No problems with the car so far. We did have a roof box malfunction a while back that had john dodge cars to retrieve his shorts.
