The Lubutu project is in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. After years of civil war, DRC is on the brink of development with mounting pressure on its forest. We’re working alongside five villages in the Maniema Province to protect the highly at-risk forest between two National Parks. Sponsoring Lubutu rainforest funds the villages’ rainforest protection and community investments to ensure our partner communities are best placed to keep their forest standing.
