Everything Ellie hopes to make every day a ‘blue sky day’ by providing a simple day at the seaside, a break away from the hospital rooms for young people or Parents/Guardians with young families undergoing treatment for long term, life threatening or terminal illnesses such as Cancers & Leukaemia’s. We currently have an amazing beach hut at Saunton Sands Beach North Devon where families can spend a day away, enjoy the natural beauty that it provides and create lasting happy memories together. Providing short term respite to get away, relax & take in the view. Saunton was a must for us as a location, a place that allow dogs all year around would have been top of Ellie’s list as her two always took priority and were very much part of the family. Ready equipped for you with Windbreaks, Deck Chairs, Picnic Table, BBQ, Buckets, Spades, Ball Games, Blankets, Body Boards so all you need is you, your family, your dogs (if you have them) & a packed lunch to enjoy the day. Our long term aim is to have our very own Woodland holiday lodge in North Devon where families can stay for longer and spend precious quality time together, having use of the beach hut which will always be the very heart of the charity.
