Today was amazing. We burnt the soles off our feet at Mihintale after being peer pressured by a group of Sri Lankan Navy men to hike the sacred mountain barefoot at the hottest part of the day. When we returned to our rick we discovered that monkeys cannot open buckles but they can undo zippers! They are now bacteria free, well caffeinated, and less anxious thanks to the opening of our prescription drugs and beverages. They also maybe ate our driver's seat. All in a day's travel!
