guys, sorry for the lack of updates, I'm alive but was in places with no cellphone places to buy credits. This is a great adventure and I'm having an awesome time, but it's a bit too much for one guy to so alone. Catching a flight back to the states in a day or so. :)

it's 2am the morning of the race and I can't sleep. All 72 teams are taking the same road to Guwahati, which is ridden with construction and other random Indian obstacles. I've met some really great people so far...going to be one hell of an adventure. Right now I can only provide updates via SMS, so no pictures yet. The state i'm in has blocked all foreign phones because of terrorism (silly I know)...hoping that when we get a little further my sketchy sim card will allow me Internet access, but you never know...welcome to India!!!!@

after 3 hours of going to 5 different places, I finally have a sim card! Race starts tomorrow, cross your fingers that my rickshaw doesn't break down!
