Mongol Rally Relay

 

Some disappointing news for all: James and I (Rupert) failed an exam each.  We failed different ones and the resits are about a week apart.  Unfortunately the med school decided to schedule this in the middle of the Rally.

However all is not lost, I will be doing the first half of the rally then flying home from Almaty, Kazakhstan.  James will meet us at the airport in Kazakhstan and take my place for the second half.  Hence this has now become a relay race!

This does mean that we will now only have 3 people in the car at any point so there is a spare seat..... If you or you know anyone who would like to join us then give me an email at [email protected].

Sterile Pub Crawl

 

On Friday we had our sterile pub crawl.  We all got dressed up in gowns and gloves and hit the streets of Kensington and Hammersmith.  It went down very well with plenty of **gin**iscrub being given out to those who de-sterilised themselves!

 However, as usual the most important activity of the night was fundraising and we managed to raise a massive £447.74, €50 and about £10 worth of other crazy currencies.  So a massive thank you to everyone who came along to help and also to those gerenerous people who donated!


 

Halloween Pub Crawl

 

We did our first funraiser yesterday, a pub crawl from South Kensington to Fulham Broadway.  It was a good night even though we were missing Callum and we raised a not unrespectable £364.20.  A good start to our fundraising efforts and there will be plenty more events soon!
