12/08/10 MASSIVE FAIL...got to border 5mins after closing! Now only got 1 day to get across before we think border closes for weekend! Time to hunt for wood and get our wodka on! Geez its cold but drive down through mountains was well worth it...AM...AZ...IN!

11/08/10 - RAIN!!!!...WOOHOO!!! Well, not to fun while driving or camping come to think of it! We picked some new people in convoy 1) khanopies over mongolia & 2) some weird russian, who we think was trying to either sell his daughter, marry her off or atleast swap her for Elisa! Things got even more 'interesting' when we pulled over at a police checkpoint and they kept there heads down & sped off!! After all that excitement we ended up camping in layby at side of road and had a rave!! Glow sticks & sparklers a'plenty

09/08/10 - roof box has gone!...and now car is that little bit cozier! Also gave tyre weld a test at dropbear's expense...result?...another shredded tyre! After we found some wheels that actually fit, we were back on our way

Following awesome birthday celebrations for Charlie & Shaun in the middle of russian desert we find ourselves being welcomed by the lovely Kaz border guards. After a complete strip search of bertha & lengthy drive on the roads...if you can call them that, through the night we find ourselves in Atyrau, Kazakhstan and now its time to go to sleep ..phew!

So, after being awaken by angry farmer aiming a combine harvester at our campsite and michael schumongol's dead fiat we've made our way to odesa where the fun continues...1st my bank card gets swallowed and now This is our everest's car's clutch has now packed up!...worrying as its the same as ours!
