we have made it, just! 2200 miles, 1 day off, a 24 hour breakdown, 3 days living on crisps and water, hundreds of mozzy bites and at least a stone lighter, what an experience, we could never describe how crazy the roads are, Gangtok is stunning, Lyla has seen better days but done us proud, finished 10th, well happy, thanks for everyones support and see you all soon

we have done it can't believe it after 3480km or 2180 miles, im so chuffed. India is an amazing country, lovely food, mainly nice people, stunning views, brilliant climate. We finished 10th out of 60 so we are chuffed, The travelling has been loads of fun the company not so, lol. We have stayed in many dives and many nice places, had a 24 hour breakdown had another day sightweeing and still did it 2 days b4 planned, we have seen to much for my mind to proccess in the time im here, will take a few weeks for me to realise the things ive seen/done. Ive truly loved it. Now time for beers until the flight home on tues, loads of photos/vids will be added online, thanks for reading and il see u all soon, much love, gm

we are in siliguri 120km from the end, staying in hotel concave its v nice, well after the last few days of cockroach infested scum pits, it was needed, Just ordered beer, gonna have a curry and wander around, lyla is getting the roof rack re-welded at 10, we cant be having that falling off going up the mountain i think it wud hurt. We know there are a few teams ahead of us, but not sure how many are in gangtok yet, hope ur all well, gm

finally got a network i can use! The last 3 days have been crazy, we broke down in basically a slum and had to stay there for 24 hours, i nearly crashed into an elephant on the motorway, no food for 52 hours,fireknakers drove us in and out of calcutta and about 10 mins ago litterly had to kick and indian guy out of lyle, west bengal is stunning, still on the look out for tigers, weather is boiling, im that dirty im starting 2 look indian, gm@

what a 36 hours, after Lyla blew her compressor on Monday morning it was only Tuesday she decided to go, drove to kharagbur on father reays directions to a hotel and then quickly decided to put in a 4 hour night drive to Calcutta, cheers Reay ha, were all having cold showers and then a few hours Kip before we start the final run up the mountains, lived on crisps and water for the last 2 days so looking forward to a proper dinner, oh and whilst driving up the Indian m6 we had to pull over as 2 elephants were walking down our side of the road!
