Kutná Hora, Czech Republic

We've just seen the bone church which is very impressive, if a bit morbid. The church is decorated with bones for two reasons- the land is sacred and so the wealthy wanted to be buried there and the Plague killed so many in the area they were left with a lot of bones- then some bright spark decided to use them for decoration! After the Kostnice (as the bone church is really called) we met with Suzy's Mum and Dad who live in Kutná Nora and were the reason we'd heard of the ossary. We enjoyed a slushie while talking about travels that had gone wrong. In retrospect, not a great topic choice. After getting them to sign the car, we're now off to Poland!

How NOT to kill your team

I think the guys might regret this later but I have been tasked with learning first aid!! Specifically wilderness first aid, apprently they don't have hospitals in the middle of the plains of Mongolia...........who would have thought it!!

As such last Saturday and Sunday I headed to a supprisngly sunny Holland Park to strap up some strangers!
