Betsy on the road
We broke down six times in two days. We finally put the rickshaw in for servicing at Salem and the expert machanic found the problem. Betsy is now working like a dream. What a shame it hadn't been serviced before. We could have made it to Bangalore. Oh well. Onwards and upwards.
Hokey Cochi
It was great to meet everyone but the city was a mess. I find it difficult to see that they say that it is God's country when there is so much poverty and squaller everywhere. Still we are off and running.
Hooray for internet
We're already starting to get invites from people around India to visit us. Â This is so cool. Â What is a country without the people?
It's just a shame we cannot plan the trip more accurately to fix dates.
The excitement is starting to take over the apprehension. Â I'm smiling;)Â
